This post is mostly a photo bomb. If you'll remember, we went to
Touch A Truck last year, and it's one of our favorite events. I'm so thankful for the Child Saving Institute for putting it on! It's so much fun, and Carson loves it. For those not familiar with this type of event, it is a gathering for children, where fire, rescue and other work/construction vehicles are brought in. The kids are allowed to get in/on the vehicles and explore them. The event is totally free! You do have to wait in line at each vehicle, but it's totally worth it! It's a really cool way for kids to become familiar with different vehicles, and also see rescue equipment up close. Carson was SO jazzed to get in the fire truck! They also had fire equipment out for the kids to check out. C got to wear a real fireman helmet and hold a fire hose!
I was pretty stoked to see a restored '57 Chevy that was painted as a police car! Being the Nebraska Chevy girl, I'm always on the lookout for cool and unique Chevys! This was definitely one, and it was neat to get Carson's picture inside of it!
Also, check out
last year's pics and compare to this year! It was a much warmer day this year, but look how much older Carson looks! Last year he still had a bit of a baby face, but not this year. I can't believe how big he's getting!
