Monkeysnugles Review and Giveaway

I have truly found the cloth diapering Nirvana. Seriously. There is one brand that has it ALL. No leaks? Check. Wickedly trim fitting? Check. Adorable? Check! Snaps or Applix? Check. Sized or OS? Check. Fitteds or Pockets? Check! Wool too? Check!!

I mean, COME ON!!! It can NOT get any better than that, can it? I stumbled across Monkeysnuggles through the weekly Twitter #clothdiapers chat. We were tweeting, and I decided to check out her store. I was immediately in love with all the adorable prints! So, I contacted Renee, and asked if she'd be interested in having me do a review and giveaway, and she generously agreed.

So, Renee sent me a totally adorable pocket diaper in the Retro Cars print. I was SO excited to get it! Now that I've found my cloth diapering groove, I am addicted to prints! When I pulled that bad boy out of the envelope, I was more excited than a fat kid in a candy store! I could not believe how trim the thing was! And she had even included two inserts! Even with BOTH inserts (which are bamboo fleece and dy-no-mite!), it was trimmer than every other pocket I had with just ONE insert. The lining is suedecloth, and the pocket is actually in the front. I haven't noticed any difference having the pocket in the front, it's just as easy to use.

You can get the dipes in both applix and snaps. We chose snaps, because Applix isn't a favorite over here. There are two rows of snaps, so you don't get wing droop. I also love that the tabs can overlap, and snap onto each other for a better fit. These diapers are SO trim fitting when they are on! Seriously, like disposable thin. The absorbency is out of this world though. I was really doubtful that inserts so thin could hold very much, but we have yet to have a leak in them. C has napped in them for several hours, and no leaks! They hold up WONDERFULLY in the wash. I know, because it's a favorite, and gets used constantly.

The story doesn't end there, folks. I have a bit of an addiction to Monkeysnuggles. Truly. Since getting that first diaper, my stash of MS has grown. I found a mint chocolate zoo pocket on diaperswappers. Then I snagged an iced giraffe pocket from her Etsy shop. Once I discovered wool, I was a goner. I had Renee custom knit me a pair of moster face longies. The were a collaboration between her, and her Mom. She happened to post some new fitted diapers, and of course I just HAD to have the polka dot dog fitted, since it matched the woolies so well. And? I decided the I really needed the retro owl print pocket diaper with a fleece inner. Oh, and I have ANOTHER iced giraffe pocket coming, that I snagged on Diapperswappers.

Does this tell you something?? I. Love. Monkesnuggles. I did receive the first diaper at no charge for the review, but since getting it, have fallen head over heels in love with the stuff, and I have bought so much more. I recommend them to EVERYONE. They are a great price, and I really love supporting another Mommy. Renee is always quick to answer any questions through her Etsy shop, or even when I bug her on Twitter. When I asked if she had ever or would ever do a fleece inner pocket, she totally accommodated me, and made one right up for me. C seems to be somewhat sensitive to suedecloth, so I prefer fleece.
